  • 1.  Wellsky Consolo Hospice - HOPE Data Scrubbing

    Posted 10-14-2025 10:34 AM

Anyone out there utilize Wellsky Consolo Hospice and having any luck with getting to see your HOPE data prior to submission like we could with the "Hospice Item Set Review" report previously?  I work closely with our Quality Assurance Coordinator and have written scripts that can look through the old HIS Review report and flag any errors prior to submission.  When we asked Wellsky if the HIS Review report was going to be updated with HOPE information, they very bluntly said "NO" and pretty much informed us that we would have to go into each patient's chart, one at a time, and check this information moving forward.  This makes a previous process that might take an hour or two to complete now days worth of work.

I would like to see if anyone else has figured a workaround for this or at least figured out the correct verbiage to use with their helpdesk to get someone to actually assist us instead of just closing out tickets with no resolution.  It's frustrating enough for us to start looking to other EMRs, I can tell you that!

Thanks in advance for any help,

    John Phillips

I also preferred the HIS report and asked WellSky if there would be a version for HOPE and was told no. In the past I've had decent success with emailing and/or calling the Support team. I have found that often their answer to any requests for adjustments is "we do not have time to do that right now." With all of the errors they are in the process of fixing with HOPE, their response time has increased dramatically. They are also sending out canned replies like this:

Thank you for contacting WellSky Technical Support.

We've received your inquiry and our team is actively investigating it. You can expect an update as soon as we have more information. Rest assured, we are committed to resolving your issue and will keep you informed throughout the process.

We have a "Support Group" of sorts that is currently meeting on Teams every Tuesday to review HOPE issues. We have about 15 hospices - let me know if you're interested in joining.
