The article, Update: Hospice Certifying Physician Enrollment Requirement, in today's edition of NAHC Report highlighted a concerning CMS Q&A that directly conflicted with hospice regulations and statute. As mentioned in the article, NAHC, along with NHPCO, requested that CMS retract the response. A short while ago CMS did this and the most current Q&A document can be found here.
