I cannot seem to find clear information on who is responsible to pay the cost of transportation if a patient transfers to another hospice outside of the current service area.
On Palmetto it implies that the hospice is not responsible for the transport, but it is not clearly stated. This would be regarding a transfer, not a discharge.
