Good afternoon,
I am wondering if there are any specific guidelines for patients who wish to have their nails painted by a hospice volunteer. Nail painting for patients can be therapeutic however I'm concerned as nail polish is a chemical, fumes from the polish causing an adverse reaction as well as chips in the nail, infection, etc. I understand both the compassion side and the compliance side. Can anyone offer some ideas/guidance.
