Hi Susan,
Our agency has a copy of each facilities EPP on file. On admission, it's documented along the lines of "will follow facility emergency plans and protocols during an emergency event."
Should our agency active our EP, we call each facility and pt family to let them know our own EP has been activated and what that looks like for them. Especially depending on pt status.
Then, directly following the event, our clinicians call for an update of their pt and document what the facility said. Then call the pt family to update them.
