Attached is a comment outline that can be used to develop your comment letter to CMS regarding the proposed hospice special focus program, informal dispute resolution process, 36-month rule, change for some hospices to the high risk category of screening, and definition of managing employee. CMS appreciates hearing directly from providers and we encourage you to respond to these proposals and let CMS know how your hospice and the patients you serve will be impacted as well as how you believe these proposals will impact all hospices.
