Hi, everyone.  CMS has posted the list of plans that will be participating in the MA VBID Hospice Component model for CY 2023 on the MA VBID page:  https://innovation.cms.gov/innovation-models/vbid

Fifteen (15) plans will be participating in the model in CY2023, which is 6 more than in 2021 and 2 more than in 2022.  These 15 organizations will test the inclusion of the Part A hospice benefit in MA benefits through 119 PBPs (up from 53 PBPs in 2021 and 115 PBPs in 2022) and in 806 counties (up from 206 counties in 2021 and 461 counties in 2022).

There's a lot of shifting that is going on, with a good number of new plans and plans that area dropping, as well as plans that are expanding their footprint in the model.  We'll be developing a comparison chart that provides detailed information about areas where plans will be newly serving populations and which plans are dropping the program that will run in NAHC Report in the near future.
