Our original-Medicare-only agency has many therapy-only cases. The therapists do not address medications except at SOC, ROC or recert. Because of this, our survey results for the survey questions did HH providers from this agency talk with you about (1)the purpose, (2)when to take, and (3) side effects of taking your new or changed prescription medications are extremely low. What are other agencies doing to combat this and achieve reasonable survey score results? We typically do not send a nurse for therapy-only cases because Medicare will not reimburse us for those visits.
