I have worked in health care since the mid-1980's, first in pediatric and pediatric intensive care, followed by staff development and healthcare quality. I have worked in hospice and palliative care since 2008 and am passionate about hospice and the amazing care we provide to patients and their families at end-of-life.
Outside of work I love to spend time outdoors camping, hiking and bird watching, and enjoy baking and reading in my spare time. I am a sports fan, especially love hockey (go Red Wings and Grand Rapids Griffins) and baseball (Love my Detroit Tigers!), and also follow the Detroit Lions and University of Michigan football and men's hockey.
