A former staff member of NHPCO, I joined Sentara Healthcare as Communications Advisor in February 2023. I'm part of the corporate communications team and I work out of the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center. Sentara has a few member hospice programs in Southeastern Virginia that are well established. Prior to joining Sentara, I worked for 28 years in communications and media relations on behalf of hospice care at the association level; nearly 20 years with the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Hospice Foundation of America prior to that. I received my Masters in Public Communications from American University.
