The National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) is looking for volunteers among membership who will help shape and guide the association's policies on all matters pertaining to Medicaid. This Medicaid Advisory Council (MAC) is being created for NAHC members to discuss and share information about important national Medicaid developments; to establish and refine recommendations to the Board regarding NAHC’s Medicaid policy and advocacy positions; and to provide guidance on NAHC's Medicaid research, education, and outreach activities. The MAC will be comprised of a steering board, a broader workgroup, and topic-specific subgroups. The attached charter contains more information about the nature and structure of each of these MAC components.
