Normally, when we find out about an inpatient hospitalization, we complete a Transfer OASIS using the date we found out to answer M0090, and the date of hospitalization for M0906.
In this particular case, the patient was hospitalized on the last day of her old cert period, two days after her re-cert, and we found out about the hospitalization on the first day of the patient's new cert period. Do we place the Transfer in the new cert period or the old cert period?
