    Good Afternoon,

    This is regarding CR 121615 https://www.cms.gov/files/document/mm12615-update-chapter-7-home-health-services-medicare-benefit-policy-manual-pub-100-02.pdf

    As of May 26th, 2022 a collaborative statement is required for following statement:

    "In the absence of State law governing collaboration,
    collaboration is to be evidenced by NPs documenting their scope of practice in the medical
    record, and indicating the relationships that they have with physicians to deal with issues
    outside their scope of practice."


    1. Has there been an clarification from CMS for states that are silent as to collaboration?
    2. Where in the home health documentation would the collaborative statement be contained?
    3. Is there a good resource to verify where your states regulations default to?
