Good Afternoon NAHC Members:
As you may know, CMS released a pair of proposed regulations that will significantly impact the Medicaid program if finalized. The two notices of proposed rulemaking (NPRMs) jointly address a wide range of issues regarding access to and payment for Medicaid services. While there are positive components to the regulations, there are also several areas of concern for providers.
Attached to this post is an analysis of the Access rule and its implications on NAHC members. A companion analysis regarding the Managed Care rule will be released in the near future.
