Good Morning Everyone:
We are expecting CMS to release the Final Medicaid Access Rule, which will likely contain some version of the 80-20 passthrough policy, before the end of April. In preparation for the release, our Medicaid Advisory Council developed the attached "talking points" to help you with any media inquiries or similar questions from partners/members/states. We hope to have the entire industry provide a consistent, unified, response regarding the inappropriateness of any Federally-mandated pass-through.
