I am wondering if anyone knows the answer to this question - Since insurance change has become a more common practice I am wondering regarding the ADC OASIS for an insurance change patient. The patient is discharged with Reason = Still a Patient. And then readmitted in a new episode. Does CMS not utilized the ADC OASIS for data collection, PDGM, etc. because the patient is still a patient or are we getting marked down because as in most cases the patient has not seen improvement at time of discharge?
