Like most agencies, we are taking a hard look at our HHCAHPS surveys and return rate and trying to find ways to improve our scores and improve the return rate. Currently SHP administers our surveys on our behalf and our return rate is approx 30%.
A few questions:
- can anyone share strategies that they've used to improve patient satisfaction scores? Or point me toward a resource?
- what other vendors administer the HHCAHPS survey?
- is it required that the survey be administered on paper/in writing? Could it be emailed to patients/caregivers? Or done by phone?
