Hi,
I am looking for feedback regarding HHA Care plans.
Is the HHA Care Plan able to have both shower and sponge bath checked off for the aide to do with the patient and it be documented that it is patient preference?
This obviously would be for a patient that was able to safely shower with the aide's assistance but may prefer to have a sponge bath instead on occasion.
The HHA is not making a clinical decision as to what the patient is able to do, it has been determined by the Case Manager that patient can have either and it is patient preference.
