Who do you have completing annual competency evals for your skilled disciplines? Is it always the Mgr? Does a like discipline conduct the skills portion and a Mgr conduct the remaining such as CoPs, Infection control, etc? I can't find any specifics in the regs that specify that competency evals must be conducted by a Mgr - just that they have oversight that they are completed. (I understand an aide must be supervised by an RN) I appreciate you sharing your model and interpretation of the regs.
