    Happy Monday! Can't believe June is almost complete and we're at the halfway point of 2025! I wanted to check with the PD home care community to see if any of you were experiencing challenges or having questions about the Trump Administration's decision to end the CHNV Parole program?  DHS Issues Notices of Termination for the CHNV Parole Program, Encourages Parolees to Self-Deport Immediately | Homeland Security 

    We are considering doing some member education on this topic, possibly engaging an expert in immigration law to provide some insights for our members. If you have any comments or suggestions about this idea/topic, please let us know.

    Thanks for raising this-it's an important and timely issue. The end of the CHNV Parole program could create real disruption for providers and the families we serve. Member education is absolutely the right move, especially with legal guidance to help agencies navigate potential workforce impacts and support affected staff.
