Has anyone else experienced receiving a separate admit order from one provider and the F2F attestation statement from another provider in the same hospital encounter? Is this acceptable or do these two orders need to be generated by the same provider? We receive home health referrals from a teaching hospital and a majority of these referrals will have several doctors overseeing a resident so one of the teaching doctors will generate a general home health admit order and other teaching doctor will provide the F2F attestation and visit note documentation. Has anyone found this acceptable to do? Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks
