Hello, I am manager of a small Home Health/Hospice agency in central Montana. I am wondering how other agencies manage the 48hour rule from referral to admission especially if a referral comes in at 5pm on a Friday. We have a nurse that works the weekend, but no intake staff. We use both RN's and LPN's on weekends, the RN is back up for the LPN.
