Good evening Home Health community,
The Program for Evaluating Payment Patterns Electronic Report (PEPPER) for Home Health Agencies (HHAs) is now available! Authorized Officials (AOs), Access Managers (AMs), and approved Staff End Users (SEUs) can access the reports through the PEPPER Portal. Once access is approved, users should sign in to the portal with their CMS Identity & Access (I&A) credentials to download and review their organization's report.
How to Become a Staff End User
- Sign in to the CMS Identity & Access (I&A) System using your existing National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES) or Provider Enrollment, Chain, and Ownership System (PECOS) credentials.
- Request the PEPPER business function for your organization. The Comparative Billing Report (CBR) business function is also available and may be requested at the same time.
- Wait for your organization's Authorized Official or Access Manager to approve the request.
- After approval, return to the PEPPER Portal and use the same credentials to access and download your organization's PEPPER report.
Additional Resources and Support
AOs and AMs can refer to the I&A Quick Reference Guide and Frequently Asked Questions for step-by-step instructions on managing access and approving SEU requests. If you need help identifying your AO or AM, or if you have questions about your access request, contact the PECOS External User Services (EUS) Help Desk.
