Listening Session: FY 2027 Hospice Proposed Rule — Requests for Information (RFIs)

The National Alliance for Care at Home will host a dedicated listening session on Wednesday, May 6 from 2-3 p.m. ET focused on CMS’s Requests for Information (RFIs) included in the FY 2027 Hospice Wage Index and Payment Rate Update Proposed Rule. This session will center on CMS’s solicitation of stakeholder input on enhancing community-based palliative care under current Medicare benefits, the potential development of a hospice-specific wage index, and policies related to the intersection of hospice and Medical Aid in Dying (MAID). Alliance staff will listen to member perspectives, experiences, and recommendations to help shape thoughtful, evidence-informed comments to CMS ahead of the June 1, 2026 deadline.
